Langtang valley trek is the one of the most popular trekking route in Langtang region. Langtang valley treks offers panoramic Himalayan scenery including the Lantang lirung, Langshisha, Yala peak, Dorje Lakpa, Gangchenpo, Ganaja la chuli/ Naya kanga, Tibetan Himalayan range etc, wild animals such as Mountain Thar, Musk deer, fox, jackal, monkeys , mixed culture of Tibetan Sherpa, Tamang, Gurung , Bramin , Chhetri etc, Lush valleys and beautiful landscape. Langtang Valley lies closer to Kathmandu than other trekking regions, and is lesser used by both trekkers and local. The Langtang valley is pertinently called the valley of glaciers here; mountains rise soaring toward the sky. The Langtang valley offers pine forest, swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow-caped peaks, grassy down and meadows strewn with daises and wild animals. In the upper part of the valley there are snow ridges spanning angry torrents, high passes enveloped in mist tiny lakes of crystalline brightness and glaciated mountain giants. Once you enter the Langtang valley you fluttering buddies prayer flags, brightly painted.
Langtang valley trekking begins with a 7 hour drive to Dhunche - Syabru Bensi. Initially we are trekking through a sub-tropical jungle, then a dense forest of oak, birch and pine before the valley opens out into alpine meadows and yak pastures. In the spring these high meadows are carpeted with a rich variety of alpine wild flowers also the forests are also in full bloom with rare tree orchids and the colorful rhododendron, Nepal's national flower, also a spring highlight. The Langtang forests are also well known for their wildlife, including red pandas, Himalayan black bear, wild boar and langur monkeys - you are likely to see packs of these monkeys between Syabru and Ghora Tabela. Beyond Langtang village is the summer settlement of Kyanjin with its small gompa and cheese factory. Our camp here amongst yak pastures, dominated by the fluted north west face of Kangchenpo, whilst Kyangjin Ri at 4708m and Tsekuri 4984m provides splendid viewpoint. The views from here are as spectacular as anywhere in the Himalaya, a 360 degree panorama of snow capped including the awesome Langtang Lirung, Pemthang Ri, Langshisha Ri, Dorje Lakpa, and Kangchenpo, Tilman's fluted peak. Langtang Valley Trekking Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in kathmandu 1334m, Himalaya Journey Treks & Expedition’s representative will transfer to hotel , Langtang valley trekking briefing with officially arrangements. overnight at Kathmandu..
Day 02: Kathmandu by bus /private vehicle to Sybru Bensi(1462m)
Day 03: Sybru Bensi trke to Bambo.(2145m)
Day 04: Bambo trek to Lama Hotel.(2804m)
Day 05: Lama Hotel trek to Langtang valley.(3520m)
Day 06: Langtang valley trek to Kyanjin Gompa.(3825m)
Day 07: Kyanjin Gompa acclimataization day (During this day you will hike Kyanjin Ri(4756m) and walk to Tserko Ri (4984m) for superb Himalayan scenery including Langtang Lirung, Yala peak, Naya khanga, Ganesh Himal, Tibetian Himalaya range etc & back to Kyanjin gompa. overnight at Kyanjin gompa.
Day 08: Kyanjin Gompa trek to Ghora Tabela.(3048m)
Day 09: Ghora Tabela trek to Sybru village /Gaun (2581m)
Day 10: Sybru village / Gaun trek to Dhunche ( 1966m)
Day 11: Dhunche by bus/private vehicle back to Kathmandu.
Day 12: After breakfast, our tour guide will take to for historical monuments sightseing in kathmandu valley such as Bhaktapur, Pasupatinath, Boudhhanath, Kathmandu durbar square and Monkey temple(swyambhunath) and in the evening farewell dinner in Restaurant, overnight at Kathmandu in Hotel.
Day 13: After breakfast, Relaxing/shopping withsz own activities ,Himalaya Journey Treks & Expedition’s representative will drop to Kathmandu international airport for onward destination.
