Kwangde Peak Climbing

Kwangde Peak Climbing Nepal has been the focus of outstanding achievements in the world of mountaineering, with it's eight peaks above 8000 meters. It has challenged the minds and bodies of those who have dared for decades Among the identified 1310 peaks above 6000 meter, one quarter are officially opened for mountaineering activities, including the 'trekking peaks'. Tackling these peaks is the next step beyond 'simply' trekking, before scaling the eight thousand.

The Nepal Mountaineering Association has designated 18 lesser summits, ranging in elevation from 5587 m. to 6654 m. as trekking peaks. These peaks offer a compromise between a standard trek and a full-on mountaineering expedition, ranging in difficulty from moderately steep glacier walks to technical, multi day rock and ice climbs previous climbing experience is not strictly necessary, but you need to be specially fit and able to cope with cold and stormy conditions. Kwangde Peak Climbing Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu , transfer to Hotel and welcome diner.
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing and Prepare peak climbing
Day 03: Flight to Lukla 2800m. & trek to Phakding 2610m.
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Day 05: Namche rest for acclimatization
Day 06: Kwangde base camp 4700m.
Day 07: Rest/acclimatization
Day 08: Base camp – high camp 5200m.
Day 09: High Camp – Summit Kwangde 6011m. – Back Base camp
Day 10: Base camp – Namche Bazaar
Day 11: Namche - Phakding
Day 12: Phakding - Lukla
Day 13: Thyanboche – Namche bazaar 3440m.
Day 14: fly Lukla – Kathmandu
Day 15: Kathmandu valley sightseeing and farewell diner.
Day 16: back to onward destination.
